Yer funny. Why won’t you let me bookmark you? I try and it won’t let me. Not a single page of your site. It makes me think I am bookmarking you. I “favorite it and it appears in the list, but then the next morning, when I’m waking up and want to read my morning funnies I click on the link and… nothing. Damn it!
Thanks Marie. I’m probably going to set up a shop soon. It would be nice to make a little change from the comic. I think it would be cool if somehow I could set it up that people could pick their favorite comic and have it turned into a t-shirt. I don’t know if there is a service that could make that a reality.
Alot of these would work fantastically on T-shirts. Here in Edinburgh there is a huge trade for novel, comedy T-shirts - many of which are a bit shit… some of your stuff though would really fly off the shelves definitely something you should consider. Especially seeing as you reference things like Starwars and Star Trek etc. there are loads of tops with Yoda jokes and such, the high majority or which are pretty poor compared to some of your comics.
Always space for a geek culture parody on a T-shirt.
I don’t know how I could get product up for sale in Edinburgh, though. More that likely I’ll have to use a print on demand service, one that will print parody shirts that contain copyrighted or trademarked material, such as Star Trek. Most companies won’t allow it though.
For the most part, you can get away with using copyrighted material for purposes of parody., like Robot Chicken. Your Boba Fett as a closet trekkie falls well under parody laws. Since most of your material is original, you shouldn’t have much of a problem.
And yes, this strip in particular needs to be on a t-shirt.
I’ve read the law and court findings concerning copyrighted material & parody, and I know that my comics that use copyrighted characters are not in violation. The problem is that most print on demand services are not willing to take even the slightest risk that they might be violating copyright law even when it’s concerning parody.
As for this strip, I just ordered a test t-shirt from a print on demand service to check out the quality. I should be getting the shirt in the next couple of weeks. If the quality is good I’ll make it available to the masses.
Hey MuDD, what’s up? You haven’t commented in a while. I was wondering if you were still coming to the site. Glad to know your still reading and ready to spend your hard earned money =)
I’m not going to sell anything until I know for sure that I’m happy how the merchandise looks. I don’t want to be ripping anybody off. But if everything looks good, I’ll be more than happy to let you all make me rich!

Hey MuDD. Sorry it took me so long to respond, I haven’t checked the comments for a while. I’m still looking for work so I haven’t been keeping up on the comic like I should. The comic number you want to use is 72. The number below the comic not the one that shows up in the browser.
