I loved the Chasing the Dragon one in particular (I realise i probably should comment at it’s actual page but y’know it’s late and i’m lazy and i’m sure you aren’t concerned about details when it’s praise thats being given!), you really struck an eerie note with it… you find yourself laughing at the moment you realise what it’s really about. Very poignant actually.
Captain Marvel actually died from cancer because he was exposed to radiation in some early issue. It’s a pretty weird book. All of the marvel characters get together and deal with death in a really mundane way. But they all still wear spandex

Yeah, I remember reading those stories. They were written and drawn by Jim Starlin.
