The whole strip is delightfully dark, and this strip makes me laugh every time, great work!
I’m aware that this is a bit of an asinine comment, but the whole grammatical structure of the first sentence is a bit fucked up…other than that, funny as always…found you through A Softer World…
English. As far as the grammatical structure of the sentence being wrong, I’ll just have to take your word for it. I haven’t diagrammed a sentence since high school. I really don’t care whether or not the writing is grammatically correct. If I like how it sounds, and it doesn’t interfere with peoples understanding of the joke, that’s the way it gets put down.
Psh, the grammatical structure is fine. If you really want to be picky, a comma between ’savage’ and ‘predatory’ might make the sentence easier to read at first glance, but there’s nothing wrong with the structure.
Far more importantly, the strip’s killingly funny - I also caught sight of this on S*P, and I’m glad I checked it out!
Thanks Ipsissimus, I’m glad you’re finding the comic funny. Yeah, I noticed the missing commas but let it go because it’s a bit of a pain to go in and change a comic when it’s already up on the site. Actually, I think I added the comma for the advert.
